Sutton Manor Surgery is a teaching partner with Hull York Medical School
We are part of Ven Primary Care Network (PCN). Working at scale with a group of other practices, we aim to drive improvements for the benefit of our patients.
At Sutton Manor surgery, we work together as a team. This clear and reliable focus extends beyond our practice to other partners in the NHS family - and beyond. Our close working relationship with other GP surgeries within the Primary Care Network means that we can work towards improvements by working at scale for the benefit of all.
Patient care is our focus. In delivering high quality care we work with a multiplicity of other agencies - including hospitals, local authority services and in wider partnerships.
Understanding the needs of our patients and listening to their views is a process that we actively embrace, not just in Patient Group meetings - but in every interaction on a daily basis.
Our Doctors
Dr Marshall was born and educated in Kingston upon Hull and qualified in 1996 in Manchester. Her qualifications are BSc (Medical Science) St Andrews University 1990-93, MB.ChB., (Manchester University) 1993-96, DRCOG., 2000, DFFP., 2000, MRCGP 2001
Dr Oehring was born in Hull and went to Leeds University. She completed medical training in Hull. Her qualifications are MBchB (2007), MRCGP (2012) and attained a distinction in a Diploma in Dermatology from Cardiff University.
Dr Thomas is a Salaried GP - Trained at the Hull York Medical School and qualified in 2008. Completed GP training in Hull. Qualifications MBBS (2008) MRCGP (2013)
Dr Prowde was born in Welwyn Garden City and studied at the Hull York Medical School. He graduated in 2014 and completed his GP training in Hull & East Yorkshire. Qualifications: MBBS MRCGP
Dr Thomson completed her GP training in Hull. Qualifications: MRCGP, BA in English Language and Literature.
Dr. Telford is a Salaried GP. She has trained locally in Hull since 2006. Her qualifications include: MBBS (2012), PG Certificate in Health Professions Education (2016), PG Certificate in Health and Social Care Leadership (2019), MRCGP (2023).
Dr Harrington is a salaried GP Born in Reading and moved to Hull for university. Graduated from Hull York Medical School in 2018 and completed foundation & GP training in Hull in 2024.
