Urgent Treatment Centres
Urgent Treatment Centres are available may be open out of surgery hours to treat certain common conditions. These offer assessment on a walk-in basis but we advise first contacting NHS 111 service by dialling 1-1-1
WHEN TO VISIT A MINOR INJURY UNIT
Our Klinik online contact service allows patients to cancel appointments, request medical advice, submit medication queries, request a fit note (sick note) make general (non-medical enquiries), access blood and scan results, read self-care advice and more.
If your matter is urgent and outside working hours, please contact 111. If severe, please consider attending the hospital A & E Department or call 999. Contact in relation to concerns about Strep A should be with the 111 service and undertaken immediately,
If a person's mental or emotional state quickly worsens, this can be treated as a mental health emergency or mental health crisis. In this situation, it is important to get help as quickly as possible. Dial 111 to find out what help is available. If you feel a person is in immediate danger dial 999.

Common minor ailments can be treated at home. If you are unsure or if symptoms persist, consult your GP.

A large range of common illnesses can be treated at home with simple over-the -counter medications and rest.
Minor Ailments - Practice
Practice Nurse Prescribers offer minor illness appointments daily
Our Nurse Prescribers can help with many conditions including: cystitis earache, thrush, rashes, sore eyes, and sore throats. They can issue prescriptions but antibiotics will only be prescribed if the clinical indications are appropriate.

Your GP Practice can deal with a wide range of general health problems and refer when required.
Minor Injuries
Cuts , sprains, bruises, itchy rash , minor burns & a range of other minor injuries.
A & E departments are exceptionally busy. and longer than normal waiting times are being experienced.
